Advocacy
YWCA is on a mission to eliminate racism, empower women, stand up for social justice, help families and strengthen communities.
For over 150 years the women of the YWCA have spoken truth to power, challenging injustice, advocating for equity, advancing the rights of women and elevating the needs of children. Today we continue to raise our collective voice for maternal health, pay equity, violence prevention, and voter rights. The YWCA of Western New York works tirelessly to fulfill our mission of eliminating racism, empowering women and promoting peace, justice, freedom and dignity for all. With your added support, you can ensure our efforts to champion the needs of women, fight for social justice, and support the needs of the most vulnerable members of our society are realized.
